Job description
Sales Executive – IT Distribution and Channel Business position at Mitsumi Distribution building relationships with channel partners and driving sales of IT hardware solutions, requiring 3+ years sales experience in IT distribution with deep understanding of partner margins and dealer networks, in a technology distribution environment, on-site role.
Key Responsibilities
- Channel Partner Management Build, nurture, and expand relationships with existing channel partners, system integrators, value-added resellers [VARS], and dealers
- Dealer Acquisition Identify prospect, and onboard new commercial accounts and regional partners to accelerate product adoption and market share. Product Portfolio Promotion Drive sales across our comprehensive portfolio of enterprise and commercial IT hardware, storage, networking, and computing solutions
- Sales Target Achievement: Consistently meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and gross margin targets.
- Pipeline & Quote Management: Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, from generating system quicters and responding to partner requests to closing deals and tracking deliveries
- Market Intelligence Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and emerging channel opportunities within the regional IT market, providing actionable feedback to management.
- Cross-Functional Coordination Collaborate closely with product managers, logistics, and credit control teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment, stock availability, and timely collections.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of proven sales experience specifically within the IT distribution, channel business, or technology sector
- Education Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Sales, Marketing, or a related fi
- Channel Acumen: Deep understanding of the tier-tier-2 IT distribution model partner margins, dealer networks, and commercial sales cycles (BPS/CPS)
- Communication & Negotiation Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills with a strong ability to negotiate commercial terms and close deals
- Drive & Adaptability: A self-starter with high resilence, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
