The company has a wide spread branch network in Uganda and offers various products including; Civil Servant Loans, Logbook Finance Loans, SME Loans and Private Sector loans among others. Platinum Credit (U) Ltd is a subsidiary of Platcorp Holdings Ltd. Job Summary: To market, appraise and directly participate in collection of SME loans in line with stipulated company rules and policies. Key

Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure that all staff under your supervision on a daily/weekly/monthly basis attain their assigned disbursement and collections targets. Analyse disbursement and collections reports and drive appropriate intervention for each individual under your supervision. To lead the branch team to ensure that all approved processes (loan origination, appraisal, approval and monitoring) are adhered to. To conduct field visits to clients, guarantors and relevant stakeholders in the branch area of coverage. To chair the loan committee, sit in the disbursement meeting and ensure all the loan documentation is in the file and the necessary lending processes are adhered to. To recruit, onboard, retain, train and coach new and existing staff at the branch on all processes to grow and maintain a good quality portfolio. Performance management; inform/engage, remediation plan and action, documentation and staff appraisal to ensure continuous performance improvement for all branch staff. Qualifications,

Skills

and Experience: Degree in a relevant field. Knowledgeable about Small and Medium Enterprise Loans. Computer knowledge. Must possess leadership and supervisory skills. Excellent numerical and analytical skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
