Job Summary: The GBViE Case Management Worker provides direct case management, individual counselling and group- based psychosocial activities through safe spaces. Key Duties and Responsibilities: KRA 1: Communicating for InfluenceLead community engagement and awareness initiatives on GBV prevention, guiding principles, and safe referral pathways to influence positive norms and strengthen survivor-centered protection mechanisms.Deliver GBV trainings to community structures and frontline actors, strengthening knowledge on safe identification, referrals, and adherence to SOPs and inter-agency standards.Ensure ethical communication and strict confidentiality of GBV data, uphold information-sharing protocols, and escalate protection concerns to supervisors to maintain survivor safety and accountability.KRA 2: Ensuring Impactful ImplementationProvide age-appropriate case management services to survivors of GBV, including supporting survivors in developing a plan to address their individual needs and safely implementing this plan.Adhere to the GBV guiding principles throughout all GBV case management and psychosocial interventions. This includes ensuring confidentiality of survivors, and respect for their wishes and decisions.Provide age-appropriate case management, including assessment of client needs; basic, crisis counselling, development of action plans with clients; support to clients in pursuing services and support.Lead age-appropriate and specialized group emotional services to be provided to vulnerable women and girls through identified or established safe spaces.in compliance with PIU Standard operating procedures (SOPs).Conduct referrals to relevant services when needed, while implementing the action plan and ensuring appropriate follow up and case closure when appropriate;Provide counselling for all survivors referred to case management service;File and store GBV data in the gender-based violence information management systems (GBVIMS) in compliance with the information sharing protocol developed at the inter-agency level;Support in delivering basic GBV trainings to community structures, including sessions on the GBV core concepts and guiding principles and the safe identification and referral of GBV cases;Identify concerns related to and support adherence to GBV referral protocols and GBV guiding principles, and bring these concerns to the GBV supervisor/officer.Engage with the community and community representatives to understand needs and gaps inGender-based violence programming;Ensure strict adherence to confidentiality for all case-related information; protect the identities of the survivors.Complete monthly activity reports, according to guidance provided by the survivors in the design and implementation of all activity.Carry out any additional protection activities as assigned by the GBV supervisor/officerKRA 3: Risk, Compliance & AccountabilityEnsure strict adherence to GBV guiding principles, SOPs, and inter-agency referral protocols, proactively identifying, mitigating, and reporting protection risks to safeguard survivors and uphold humanitarian standards.Promote survivor-centered accountability by upholding confidentiality, informed consent, and ethical data management, while strengthening transparent feedback and reporting mechanisms within the humanitarian response system.KRA 4: Safeguarding, Gender Equality & InclusionEnsure that Plan International’s global policies for Safeguarding Children and Program Participants and Gender Equality and Inclusion are fully embedded in accordance with the principles and requirements of the policy including relevant Implementation Standards and Guidelines as applicable to their area of responsibility. This includes, but is not limited to ensuring staff and associates are aware of and understand their responsibilities under these policies and Plan International’s Code of Conduct (CoC), their relevance to their area of work, and that concerns are reported and managed in accordance with the appropriate procedures. Qualifications, Skills and Experience: A minimum of Degree in social work, Social Sciences, Community Psychology, Adult and Community Education, Development studies or any other related field.A minimum of 3 years’ experience in working with GBV survivors and especially in a humanitarian setting and/or advocacy programs.Knowledge Gender Based Violence in Emergency (GBVIE)Good understanding of GBV referral pathways.Good communication skills and ability to conduct training and awareness campaigns.Excellent command of English and ability to work with minimum supervision.Knowledge of the local languages spoken in the operation area is an asset.Field experience in emergency context is highly desirableHigh level of personal initiative, analytical skills and pro-active problem solving.Demonstrated people’s management skills. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain working relationships across the organization.Be a team player
