Responsible for overseeing the design, construction, inspection, and maintenance of structural works, supervising engineering teams and contractors, reviewing structural designs and drawings, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and building regulations, , and ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, registration as a Professional Engineer with the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK). The position is based in Nakuru and requires on-site work.

Qualifications

• Served in the grade of Senior Engineer (Structural) or comparable and relevant position in the public service for at least three (3) years;
• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized Institution.
• Been registered by the Engineers Registration Board of Kenya (ERB);
•  A current valid annual Practicing license from the Engineers Registration Board of Kenya;
• Corporate membership with the Institution of Engineers of Kenya (IEK);
• Demonstrated general administrative ability required for direction, control and implementation of structural programmes including supervision of professional and technical staff; and
• Show merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
