Key Responsibilities
Stock valuation: monitor stock costs for correctness and ensure inventory is valued in line with Group financial accounting policy under the Weighted Average Cost (WAC) method. Daily ECS/GL integrities: run daily stock integrity reports; investigate and correct differences between ECS and GL stock by midday each day; monitor unit and landed costs and correct unusual movements; ensure sales orders and transfers are updated within Financial KPI timelines and in the correct month. Act as the SAP focal point for Inventory Management and Supply, providing technical support and training to system users. Stock reconciliation: monitor and ensure physical stocks (bulk and packed) are reconciled daily. Support pricing validation and audit controls to maintain financial integrity.
Requirements
Degree in Accounting or Finance. Experience in stock/inventory accounting, ideally within fuels, FMCG or distribution. Strong SAP and advanced Excel skills; high attention to detail.
