Field Coordinator (M/F) – Tigray

Job description

Solidarités International is recruiting a Field Coordinator for its humanitarian operations based in Adwa, Tigray Region, Ethiopia. The coordinator will lead field strategy and implementation, oversee programmes and teams, manage resources and security, and represent the organisation with local authorities, partners and humanitarian coordination groups. The planned mission is six months, with a desired start date of 1 December 2026. This is an on-site role. Applications close 30 November 2026, although the employer says it may close earlier. Requirements

Master’s degree in Humanitarian Action, International Development, Social Sciences, Project Management or a related field, or equivalent field experience. More than five years of humanitarian-sector experience and three to four years in similar positions. Strong operations and team management, leadership, communication, decision-making, finance and logistics understanding. Ability to work under pressure in a challenging security environment, with cultural sensitivity and commitment to humanitarian and safeguarding principles. Written and spoken English fluency is essential; Amharic or Tigrigna is an asset.

Benefits

Starting gross pay of EUR 3,080 per month, depending on experience, plus a USD 400 monthly per diem.
