Job description

Precision Development (PxD) is hiring a full-time Program Manager for its Weather Initiative in Ethiopia. Based in Addis Ababa with a hybrid arrangement, the role coordinates government relationships and the channels used to deliver weather and climate information to farmers. The manager will work with PxD’s program, research, technology and country teams on partner alignment, implementation plans, stakeholder engagement, performance tracking and reporting. Requirements

Master’s degree in development studies, economics, agricultural economics, public policy, agriculture, environmental or climate science, communications, or a related field. Significant professional experience in programme management, government relations, or stakeholder/partnership management, including direct work with Ethiopian government institutions. Strong understanding of Ethiopian government processes; experience coordinating multiple partners and delivery channels. Strong relationship-building, planning, facilitation and communication skills. Able to communicate in English and Amharic; Amharic fluency is required. Willing and able to travel within Ethiopia. Existing authorization to work in Ethiopia is required.
