Company: Northern Electrical Projects (NEP) Location: Bellville, Cape Town Reports to: Operations Manager Position Type: Entry-level Qualifications and skills Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:  Grade 12.Entry level – need to chop and chase walls.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Deadline driven.Excellent interpersonal skills.Detail oriented.Ability to follow instructions.Highly motivated individual with strong self-management skills.High level of trustworthiness and ethical conduct.Ability to grind, cut and chase.The daily physical demands are those required of a general assistant.The candidate must be physically fit.The person will be required to travel to the site.The work environment characteristics are thoseEssential duties and responsibilities: The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Dig holes and trenches, plant poles and lay cables in trenches and wireways.Pulling in of large cablesChase and cut walls and concrete floors for conduit.Load and unload materials.Strip redundant installations and equipment incidental thereto from which the supply cables have been removed.This job specification outlines the main duties of the role and is not an exhaustive list.
