Company: Freeway Management Systems - Tolcon Group  Location: Transport Management Centre - Goodwood  Reports to: TMC Manager Qualifications and skills: Grade 12 or equivalent Diploma or degree in communication, journalism, public relations/ adminMedia relations or crisisMinimum 3 years working experience in Media Liaison or Public Relations Excellent written and verbal communication Knowledge of public sector communication protocols High level of attention to detailExcellent relationship building and interpersonal skills People orientated personality Responsibilities: Manage all media, public communication, and stakeholder engagement activities (briefings, interviews, press release) Ensure accurate, timely, and strategic distribution of traffic information, incident updates, road safety campaigns and planned roadworksReport submissions and admin duties Duties relating to traffic and incident communication Develop and implement crisis communication plansStakeholder engagement Understanding of freeway operations and traffic incident management
