POSITION: Driver/ Forklift Operator (3 Position)
REPORTING TO: Workshop Supervisor

LOCATION: Lusaka

We are seeking a reliable, safety-conscious, and experienced Driver/Forklift Operator. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe transportation of goods, equipment, and personnel, as well as operating forklifts to support cargo and ground handling activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently for transportation of staff.

• Operate forklifts and other ground support equipment in line with safety procedures.

• Load and offload cargo, baggage, and operational supplies.

• Conduct routine vehicle and forklift inspections and report defects promptly.

• Ensure compliance with aviation safety and security regulations.

• Maintain cleanliness and good condition of assigned equipment and vehicles.

• Assist in general ground handling and warehouse operations when required.

• Keep accurate transport and operational records.

Competencies

• High level of integrity and professionalism.

• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.

• Team player with a positive attitude.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 Certificate.

• Valid Driver’s License (preferably Classes C and C1).

• Valid Forklift Operator Certificate.

• Minimum of 2 years plus experience in driving and forklift operations.

• Experience in the aviation or logistics sector will be an added advantage.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
