Digital Sales Account Executive

Job description

Key purpose of role The Digital Sales Account Executive is responsible for supporting and driving digital advertising revenue through the proactive identification, development and sale of integrated digital solutions across VOD, digital audio and display platforms. The role focuses on executing digital sales strategies by prospecting new clients, managing sales pipelines, packaging audience-led solutions and working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure commercially viable campaigns are brought to market and successfully executed. The role carries accountability for pipeline development, proposal delivery, deal progression and revenue growth while building strong client relationships and market presence. Key performances areas Digital pipeline development: Prospect and build VOD, audio and display opportunitiesIdentify new clients and categoriesMaintain healthy sales pipelinesSolution development and campaign packaging: Develop integrated digital proposalsPackage audience-led solutionsCoordinate with internal stakeholdersDeal conversion and revenue delivery: Manage opportunities through to closureSupport pricing and negotiationsDeliver against revenue targetsClient relationship management: Maintain client relationshipsSupport retention, renewals and upsellingDigital inventory and campaign performance support: Monitor inventory utilisationCollaborate with ad operations and campaign teamsSupport campaign optimisation

Requirements

Minimum required qualification: Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, media studies or related field.Qualifications considered advantageous: Postgraduate degree or certification in project management, digital marketing, or media management.Google analytics / digital advertising certificationsMinimum years of experience: 5–8 years within digital media sales or commercial operationsAdditional role requirements: Strong knowledge of VOD, digital audio and display advertisingUnderstanding of CPM, CPC, CPA and digital media metricsDigital campaign and audience targeting knowledgeStrong financial acumenCRM and sales systems proficiencyStrong relationship management and communication skillsAbility to interpret campaign analytics and optimise performanceSuitable candidates will be selected in accordance with Primedia Broadcasting’s Employment Equity Policy.
