Job description
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities at this level will include
- Maintaining workshop inventories by receiving and issuing tools and materials, and ensuring sufficient materials are available in the workshop;
- Observing and ensuring that health and safety procedures are practised and
- Providing technical support during training; enforced;
- Ensuring proper usage, safe custody and inventory of kits, tools and equipment;
- Undertaking repairs and maintenance in the area of specialization within the Institution;
- Providing procurement specifications for all workshop equipment to be purchased.
- Ensuring general cleanliness of the work area
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this position, a candidate must have
- A Diploma in Building Technology and a Craft Certificate in Masonry;
- At least three (3) years of relevant experience;
- Computer literacy (recommended for consistency with similar positions).
