Job description
Radiographer position at Scion Hospital operating imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images, requiring a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Radiography with a valid license and practicing license, in a healthcare environment, on-site role.
We are seeking a qualified, patient-focused Radiographer to join our Diagnostic Imaging team. In this role, you will operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensure safe radiation practices, and deliver compassionate care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and emergency diagnostic X-rays and imaging procedures.
- Ensure proper patient positioning, safety, and comfort throughout examinations.
- Adhere strictly to radiation safety guidelines and quality assurance standards.
- Maintain imaging equipment and report any technical faults promptly.
- Collaborate effectively with doctors, and clinical staff to facilitate prompt diagnoses.
Qualifications and requirements.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Radiography / Medical Imaging Sciences.
- Valid license/registration with the relevant professional council.
- Current practicing license.
- Proven experience operating digital X-ray and diagnostic imaging systems (CT/MRI experience is an added advantage).
- Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
