It continues to grow and drives its vision, which sees every child and youth access transformative education.Rays of Hope Ministries runs the “Teaching at the Right Level” (TaRL) program in 68 public primary schools across the Blantyre Rural and Blantyre Urban education districts.The TaRL program is a simple, proven approach that helps fix learning gaps. It focuses on teaching children based on their current learning level rather than their age or grade. Instead of traditional teaching methods, TaRL classes use fun, engaging, and creative activities to build basic reading and math skills.Children take a baseline test and are grouped by what they need to learn. Further, these students, upon showing improvements are graduated from lower levels to upper levels in the course of time.The organization is now expanding this program to 30 more schools in the Chiradzulu District.As the Program Associate Officer, you will successfully run this program in Chiradzulu District. You will work closely with and receive support from the Programs Coordinator.Main ResponsibilitiesHelp the coordinator with planning logistics, communication, and organizing TaRL training sessions for teachers.Work with teachers in all selected schools to regularly collect student test scores and performance data.Visit schools regularly on your own or with government officials to monitor progress and check how the program is running.Write and submit regular activity reports, monthly reports, and quarterly reports.Protect and respect children and all other partners, keeping them safe from any harm, abuse, exploitation, or violence.
