About the Salesperson Role The primary goal of the Salesperson role is to drive sales performance by building lasting customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities. Successful candidates will play a key role in achieving sales targets, expanding market reach, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
for Salesperson Jobs in Lusaka Promote and sell company products and services to existing and prospective customers. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow sales volume. Consistently meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets. Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships. Conduct engaging product presentations and demonstrations. Respond promptly and accurately to customer inquiries. Prepare quotations, invoices, and detailed sales reports. Follow up on orders to ensure timely and accurate delivery. Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay informed. Participate actively in sales meetings, training sessions, and promotional events. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities. Required
Qualifications
and
Skills
Minimum of Grade 12 School Certificate (Form V). Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. At least three years of relevant sales experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong sales and marketing
skills
with excellent customer relationship management. Effective communication and negotiation abilities. Problem-solving
skills
combined with professionalism and integrity.
