Role Overview: Sales and Marketing Associate Jobs in Lusaka Reporting jointly to the local Sales Manager and the Head of Marketing & Growth of MPower Group, the Sales & Marketing Associate plays a crucial role in driving sales of solar products and elevating the company’s brand visibility. We are looking for a proactive self-starter who thrives in a hands-on sales environment, enjoys building strong customer relationships, and is eager to contribute to the company’s growth.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Engagement (60%) Actively promote and sell solar products and solutions to customers in the market. Identify new sales opportunities and pursue them to ensure steady revenue growth. Consistently meet or exceed sales targets through effective customer interactions. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships to encourage repeat business. Represent the company at sales activations, exhibitions, fairs, and related events. Marketing & Brand Growth (40%) Manage and update the company’s Facebook, WhatsApp Business, and other relevant social media platforms to boost engagement and visibility. Create and distribute compelling content to strengthen the company’s online presence and reputation. Develop and execute marketing strategies tailored to the local market’s needs. Assist in training colleagues by sharing effective sales and marketing practices. Coordinate marketing activities with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely delivery.
Qualifications
and Experience Diploma or Certificate in Marketing, Sales, Business, or a related discipline. Proven experience in sales or marketing with a track record of achieving results. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Confidence in direct selling and customer engagement in a market environment. Basic understanding of digital marketing tools and CRM software. Ability to assess customer needs and craft tailored solutions. Willingness to engage actively in hands-on sales activities. Membership in ZIM and/or ZAQA is advantageous but not mandatory.
