Position Details
Position: Sales and Marketing Intern
Location: Lusaka, Zambia
Key Responsibilities
- Support sales activities and customer engagement initiatives.
- Assist in identifying and engaging potential customers, including farmers, agro-dealers, distributors, and agribusinesses.
- Follow up on customer inquiries, orders, and product deliveries.
- Develop marketing strategies and creative promotional content.
- Support product launches, farmer training programs, and demonstrations.
- Manage social media platforms and assist in campaign development.
- Participate in field visits and customer meetings.
- Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing Manager on various projects.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Recent graduate with a Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, or a business-related program.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Basic understanding of agricultural products, farming practices, and agribusiness operations.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work independently and within a team.
- Willingness to travel within and outside Lusaka.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
