Job description
Medical Jobs, Marsabit CPSB Jobs. Responsible for providing medical care, conducting clinical assessments, managing health conditions, supporting specialist services, promoting disease prevention, maintaining patient records, and supporting healthcare programmes across county health facilities. Requires relevant medical or healthcare qualifications, professional registration, valid practising licences, and relevant clinical experience. The positions are based in Marsabit and require on-site work.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for formulation and execution of pharmaceutical policies and programmes in the provision of curative, promotive, palliative and preventive health care services.
- Dispensing and compounding medicine.
- Verifying and maintaining information relating to the drugs issues to patients
- Ordering and recording of drugs and other supplies.
- Supervising other staff working under him/her.
Qualifications
- Be a Kenyan citizen
- Diploma in pharmaceutical Technologist from an institution recognized by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board
- Be a registered pharmaceutical Technologist by the pharmacy and poisons Board.
- At least three-years experience in a busy hospital.
- Computer skills will be added advantage.
