VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT@ SMALLHOLDER FARMERS FERTILIZER REVOLVING FUND OF MALAWI (SFFRFM)POSITION: PERMANENT SALES CLERKOVERVIEW The Smallholder Farmers Fertilizer Revolving Fund of Malawi (SFFRFM) was established in 1988 as a Trust under the Trustees Incorporation Act (Cap. 5:03) to procure, store, distribute and sell fertilizer to smallholder farmers across the country. The primary mandate of the Fund is to ensure that smallholder farmers have continuous access to affordable fertilizer at all times.To effectively deliver on this mandate, the Fund is now inviting applications from suitably qualified and motivated candidates of Malawian origin to fill the following vacant positions:JOB TITLE: PERMANENT SALES CLERK (1)Division: Commercial ServicesGrade: F8Reporting to: Regional Business ManagerResponsible for : N/APurpose of the JobTo conduct sales of fertilizer and non-fertilizer items.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESConducting sales of fertilizer and non- fertilizer products ensuring that cash sales with correct information are issued to customersReceiving and storing fertilizers efficiently and professionallyTake charge of all satellite depot operationsMaintaining accurate and up to date stock recordsCompiling and indexing in a clear manner all documentation on a day to day basisPreparing daily sales summaryAssist customers to buy the right type of fertilizer and non-fertilizer products and advising them on application methods.Practicing good customer careMaking administrative decisions for security guards and Porter under his/her control including duty roster in liaison with the Regional Business Manager.QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCEMSCE with at least a credit in Mathematics and English.Professional Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, AgricultureBusiness Management or any related fields from a reputable institution.Experience in a similar position and computer literacy will be added advantages.At least three (3) years’ work experience in any busy organization.Should be between 25-40 years of ageBe honest and of sober habitsMust have good interpersonal skillsCompetent in counting and handling cashA self-starter, able to work with minimum supervisionShould not have any criminal record.ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND ABILITIESLeadership, planning, coordination and negotiation skillsFlexible, result oriented and innovative thinkingSelf-starter, team playerResilient and ability to work long and odd hoursBe prepared to work in rural areas and under intense pressureAbility to communicate effectivelyKnowledge of ICT.HOW TO APPLYQualified and interested individuals should submit applications and detailed curriculum vitae with copies of certificates indicating their current postal and email addresses, telephone numbers and names of three (3) traceable referees in sealed envelopes clearly marking the position applying for not later than 16:00 hours Monday 16th November, 2026 to:The Director of Human Resources and AdministrationSmallholder Farmers Fertilizer Revolving Fund of Malawi (SFFRFM)ULIMI HouseP.O.
