VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENTPENSION ADMINISTRATION MANAGERVanguard Pension Services Company Limited, a subsidiary of Vanguard Life Assurance Company Limited committed to delivering long-term financial security through comprehensive pension fund administration, invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced professionals for the position of Pension Administration Manager.THE ROLEReporting to the General Manager. The incumbent is responsible for the strategic leadership, operational efficiency and regulatory compliance of Vanguard’s pension fund schemes, from recordkeeping and contributions reconciliation to benefit calculations, claims processing and fund accounting.RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIESFormulate, implement and monitor operational strategies and work plans for the Pension Administration unit.Design, review and enforce SOPs, administrative manuals, workflow checklists and SLAs.Ensure compliance with the Malawi Pension Act, RBM directives, AML/CFT requirements and income tax regulations.Oversee the Pension Administration System, new scheme setup, annual scheme revisions and policy transfers.Ensure monthly contributions, billings and reconciliations are completed accurately within regulated timeframes.Manage the processing and timely settlement of member claims in line with scheme rules and statutory timelines.Compile monthly, quarterly and annual administrative reports.Serve as the primary operational contact for Participating Employers and Scheme Trustees.
