Reporting to the Supervisor – Production, you will be responsible for carrying out all duties associated with Operator – 100t Haul Units operations in mining department.
Your duties will include but are not limited to the following
- Conduct pre-start checks of the Machine before commencing work
- Hauling material to designated dump sites and/ or crusher.
- Maintain acceptable fuel levels of the machine in each shift.
- Work under the supervision of shift supervisors to maintain site safety standards
- Report defects, breakdowns, or maintenance equipment and operational areas.
- Support other mining activities as directed by the supervisor.
To be considered for the position, you must meet the following requirements
- Grade twelve (12) certificate.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Must be certified to operator – 100t Haul Units.
- Must have sound Knowledge of safe working procedures and mine operations.
- Must be able to pass Psychometric/ Dover Tests.
- Certificates of service in the same role will be an added advantage.
