About the Role – Mobile Equipment Operator Jobs in Ndola The primary objective of this role is to operate mobile equipment safely and efficiently to support plant and quarry activities. Operators will be responsible for the timely movement, loading, and transportation of materials while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols and promoting operational productivity.
Key Responsibilities
Operate mobile equipment such as front-end loaders, dump trucks, and excavators in compliance with company procedures and safety standards. Perform pre-shift inspections and promptly report any equipment faults or defects. Load, transport, and offload materials within plant and quarry environments efficiently and safely. Maintain equipment cleanliness and ensure all machinery remains in a roadworthy condition. Document operational activities and submit reports as required by supervisors. Support housekeeping efforts and promote safe working practices in operational areas. Carry out additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
and Experience Full Grade 12 School Certificate. Valid Class TE Driver’s Licence. Proven experience and certification in operating heavy or mobile equipment such as front-end loaders, dump trucks, excavators, or similar machinery. Strong understanding of equipment safety protocols and operational procedures. Effective communication
skills
and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Behavioral Competencies Sound judgement with a strong commitment to safety at all times. Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Dedicated to maintaining high standards of housekeeping and operational discipline.
