STADIO is a comprehensive private higher education institution, consisting of the following academic schools: Administration and managementEngineering and architectureCommerceEducationFashion, arts and designInformation TechnologyLawPolicing and law enforcementSTADIO higher education is inviting applications for the position of: Lecturer – Marketing and Digital Marketing Purpose: The lecturer is responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, assessment and student support in the School of Commerce at the Centurion Campus, with a focus on marketing and digital marketing modules. The lecturer will facilitate student learning and success, contribute to the quality and relevance of the curriculum, and engage in research and accredited publication. The role also includes active academic citizenship through industry liaison, community engagement and institutional involvement. Key responsibilities Teaching and learning: Lecture relevant subjects in commerce, with a focus on marketing and digital marketingConduct assessments, including marking and moderationUphold quality assurance standards in teaching and assessmentProvide academic support to promote student successContribute to curriculum development, review and transformationResearch: Produce accredited research publicationsContribute to thought leadership in the fieldConduct research for teaching and learning in marketing, digital marketing and consumer behaviourPursue further postgraduate studyAcademic citizenship: Participate in community engagement initiativesBuild and maintain industry relationshipsSupport internationalisation activitiesCollaborate with academic peersParticipate in institutional committees and activitiesProvide academic leadership, including mentoring and staff development  Self-development: Pursue ongoing personal and professional development
