VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT@ LifeCO ASSET MANAGEMENT LIMITED POSITION: INVESTMENT OFFICERLocation: Blantyre Click the link to join our channel https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029VbDvHbX7NoZwNh2j8225OVERVIEW LifeCo Asset Management Limited invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the position of Investment Officer, tenable at its Head Office in Blantyre.Reporting to the Investment Manager, the successful candidate will play a critical role in assisting the Investment Manager in managing client portfolios, coordinating company operations, supporting the growth of client funds under management, and providing key insights to the company’s investment strategy.Key ResponsibilitiesThe duties and responsibilities of the position will include, but are not limited to:Ensure compliance with individual client investment mandates and agreements, maintain sound business practices, and adhere to the Financial Services Act 2010, the Securities Act 2010, and applicable Financial Services Directives.Engage with clients and manage counterparty and market investments in line with regulations, firm policies, and investment strategy.Handle all aspects of client investment reporting, client instructions, and reconciliations.Collect, interpret, and review investment market information.Prepare Board packs for Investments, Capital Management Solvency, and Asset/Liability Committee.Produce regular investment reports for investors and Trustees.Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.At least 5 years of experience in the investment management industry.Candidates working towards CFA will have an added advantage.Personal Attributes and CompetenciesGood communication and interpersonal skills at all levels.Ability to meet multiple deadlines and targets in a high-pressure setting.Excellent analytical skills.How to ApplyInterested candidates should submit one merged PDF document containing the following:Application LetterCurriculum Vitae (CV) with three refereesCopies of academic and professional certificatesCopy of National IDApplications should be addressed to:The Chief Executive OfficerLifeCo Holdings LimitedP.O.
