Instiglio Director, Anglophone Africa – Nairobi, Kenya (Hybrid)

Job description

Instiglio is hiring a Director for Anglophone Africa, based at its Nairobi office in Kenya. The full-time role leads regional impact strategy, partnerships, public-sector reform engagements and delivery teams, reporting to the CEO. Frequent travel across Africa is expected. Instiglio uses a hybrid model with at least two days each week in the office. The employer expects a Q4 2026 start, with flexibility. Requirements

Relevant postgraduate degree in public administration, public policy, development economics, governance or another international development field; at least 12 years of relevant experience; demonstrated work on government reform or institutional transformation in Sub-Saharan Africa; experience with evidence-based policy, results-based financing or delivery management; partnership development and multicultural team leadership. Strong strategic thinking, project management and persuasive English communication are sought. The role is open to all nationalities, with a preference for African citizens; the successful candidate must be eligible to work in Kenya. Management consulting and financial management experience are welcomed but not required.
