Oxfam Kenya is hiring a Just Economies Programme Officer for its Accountable Governance work in Nairobi. This is a fixed-term, 35-hour-per-week role with a hybrid workplace arrangement. The officer will support programmes on civic space, fiscal and tax justice, equitable public finance and accountable governance.
The work includes managing projects and budgets, coordinating partners and coalitions, monitoring results, contributing to research and policy advocacy, and supporting fundraising and donor reporting. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Economics, Development Studies, Social Sciences or a governance-related field; at least five years of experience designing, managing and delivering development projects in an NGO or similar setting; knowledge of fiscal justice, public finance, advocacy and campaigning; strong programme and partner management, research, monitoring and evaluation, fundraising, donor reporting and budget skills; excellent written and spoken English. Swahili is an advantage. Oxfam also expects commitment to its values, feminist principles and safeguarding standards.
