Job Purpose
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Intern who will support the Human Resources department in day-to-day administrative and operational tasks. The role offers hands-on exposure to recruitment, employee relations, documentation, and HR processes while contributing to an efficient HR function.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in posting job adverts on various platforms.
Schedule and coordinate candidate interviews.
Support the shortlisting process.
Support in preparing HR letters i.e., contracts, confirmation letters, notices.
Help address employee inquiries by directing them to the HR Manager.
Prepare onboarding documentation i.e., offer letters, contracts, induction materials.
Participate in HR projects such as policy development, job descriptions, HR audits, and compliance support.
Assist in preparing HR proposals, reports, and presentations.
Maintain organized employee records and HR databases.
Participate in performance appraisals and tracking reviews.
Assist in preparing weekly, monthly, and quarterly HR reports
Internship Details
Duration: 3 months
Remuneration: A monthly stipend will be provided (this is not a salaried position)
Minimum Qualifications.
Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
Knowledge of Kenyan labor laws and HR best practices.
Strong proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
