The company is part of the Illovo Sugar Africa Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of Associated British Foods plc (ABF).The company is inviting applications from qualified and experienced individuals for the position of HR Clerk under the Human Resources organisational unit.Org Unit: Human ResourcesReports to: HR Services & Rewards SpecialistJOB TYPE:PermanentApplication Deadline: 26 October 2026POSITION: HR CLERKKEY REQUIREMENTSAcademic, Professional Qualifications and Experience:The applicant should possess the following:A Diploma in Human Resources Management, Business Management, or a related field.At least two years of experience in a similar role.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.Knowledge of HR processes.Personal Specification:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Good interpersonal skills.Strong customer service focus.High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.Ability to handle confidential employee information professionally.DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIESEnsure accurate capturing, management, and maintenance of HR information.Maintain organisational structures to ensure they are up to date, with accurate system and manual records.Consolidate data on employee take-on and movements for monthly payroll.Maintain up-to-date personal files confidentially.Update manpower needs and keep track of key movements, including complement, successions, and retirements.Provide support in producing HR dashboards and reports to meet business needs.Participate in data quality audits, file reviews, register checks, and verification exercises.Comply with good regulatory and corporate governance minimum standards for HR practices.Promote and adhere to Illovo's procedures, policies, and guidelines, including those relating to SHERQ, Competition Law, and Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC).HOW TO APPLYInterested candidates should submit an application letter, a detailed CV, copies of relevant certificates, traceable referees, and a copy of their National ID.Applications should be addressed to:The HR Mill HeadIllovo Sugar (Malawi) plcP.O.
