Finance Manager – Cost Management Job Rafiki Microfinance Bank Nairobi, Kenya

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement cost management initiatives aligned to the bank’s strategy.
• Review payments for proper documentation, approval and compliance with SLAs.
• Oversee fixed asset verification, tagging, capitalization and insurance.
• Review monthly supplier, GL and stock-take reconciliations, and support audits.
• Manage direct reports, performance contracts and staff leave planning

Qualifications

• University degree in a business-related field; CPA Finalist or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience, preferably in banking or a financial institution.
• At least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
• Working knowledge of bank operating systems, controls and general banking.
