VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT @CGF ENTERPRISES LIMITEDCGF Enterprises Limited is recruiting Field Research Assistants (FRA) for deployment to support Bayer Malawi’s seed business operations across designated locations in Malawi. The Successful candidates will support the Agronomy Excellence team in the execution of agronomic field trials, ensuring proper implementation, monitoring, documentation and management of Agronomic Positioning Trials (APTs) and Product Knowledge Transfer Plots (PKPs). The FRA contributes to effective trial management, reliable data generation and stakeholder engagement, while working under the guidance of assigned supervisors.Job Title: Field Research Assistant (FRA) (3 posts)Function: Agronomy ExcellenceDeployment Location: North, Central & South (Field / Trial Management Sites)Reporting Line: SLMC Supervisor / Bayer RepresentativeContract Period: 10 Months renewable based on performanceKEY RESPONSIBILITIES3.1 Trial Planning and Establishment•Support identification and evaluation of suitable trial sites based on agronomic criteria•Support mobilization, handling, and accountability of trial inputs (seed, fertilizer, crop protection products)•Accurate trial layout, planning and labeling, in accordance with approved protocols3.2 Trial Management and Monitoring•Support implementation of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) across all trial sites·Assist in crop management activities including fertilizer application, weed control, pest and disease management.3.3 Data Collection and Reporting•Assist in the accurate collection of trial data using approved templates and tools•Capture field photographs and basic measurements as required•Ensure completeness, accuracy and organization of trial records and ensure timely submission of weekly reports, activity-based updates and trial data sheets3.4 Farmer and Stakeholder Engagement•Support routine interaction and positive working relationships with trial host farmers and partners•Assist in field visits, demonstrations and stakeholder engagements (both internal and external)3.5 Compliance, Safety and Professional Conduct•Adhere to all company policies on safety, stewardship and ethical field practices•Ensure safe handling and application of agricultural inputs•Demonstrate accountability, reliability and integrity in all assigned dutiesPerformance ExpectationsThe Field Research Assistant is expected to demonstrate: Execution Excellence: Diligent, accurate, and timely completion of assigned tasksAttention to Detail: Precision in trial layout, data collection and reportingDiscipline and Agility: Ability to adapt to dynamic field conditions while maintaining consistencyData Quality: Clean, reliable and well-documented trial dataProfessional Conduct: Effective and respectful engagement with farmers and stakeholdersCompliance: Strict adherence to company safety, stewardship, and agronomy standardsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS·Possession of a valid motorcycle license (is a must)·Degree or Diploma in Agriculture/Agronomy/Horticulture/Crop Science or related field• Basic understanding of agricultural field trial operations and crop management• Ability to work in field environments• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills• Good interpersonal and communication skills• Basic proficiency in data recording tools (digital or manual)MODE OF APPLICATIONInterested candidates who meet the requirements above should submit their applications, updated curriculum vitae, motorcycle driver’s license and copies of certificates including three traceable referees not later than 24th September 2026 to : [info@cgfenterprises.com](mailto:info@cgfenterprises.com) indicatingField Research Assistant in the subject line.
