A well-established company within the printing industry is seeking an experienced DTP Operator to join their fast-paced production environment based in Sandton.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, formatting, correcting, and setting up artwork for print production across Litho and Digital print processes. This role requires a highly detail-oriented individual with strong technical knowledge and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
Key responsibilities:
Format and layout artwork according to brand guidelinesPrepare files for print production and ensure all artwork is repro-readyCreate and edit graphics, layouts, and visual elementsConduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistencyProofread artwork and correct formatting issuesCollaborate with design and marketing teamsManage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environmentEnsure files are correctly set up for Litho and Digital print processesRequirements:
Proven experience as a DTP operator within the printing industryAdvanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator)Strong understanding of RGB, CMYK & Pantone colour systemsExperience in litho and digital Printing essentialHighly skilled in PitStopStrong repro and prepress knowledgeExcellent layout and artwork correction skillsAbility to work accurately under pressureStrong attention to detail and time management skillsAdvantageous:
Relevant qualification in graphic design or related fieldAdobe CC layout experience
