OVERVIEWUnik Construction Engineering (M) Ltd invites applications from qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Crane Operator on its road rehabilitation project in Mangochi District.The successful candidate will operate cranes safely and efficiently, conduct daily equipment inspections, follow approved lifting plans, and coordinate with riggers, signalers and other site personnel to ensure safe lifting operations.JOB TYPE: Full TimeREPORTS TO: Head MechanicApplication Deadline: Saturday, 7th November 2026POSITION: CRANE OPERATORKEY REQUIREMENTSApplicants should possess the following:A valid crane operator's licence or relevant certification.Proven experience operating cranes.Good knowledge of crane safety procedures and lifting operations.Ability to inspect and operate crane equipment safely.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work under pressure.DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIESThe Crane Operator will be responsible for:Operating cranes safely and efficiently.Conducting daily equipment inspections.Following lifting plans and applicable safety regulations.Coordinating with riggers, signalers and other site personnel.Ensuring the safe handling and movement of loads.HOW TO APPLYInterested and suitably qualified candidates should submit the following:An updated Curriculum Vitae (CV).A cover letter.Applications can be submitted through either of the following methods:1.
