Job Description
POSITION: COOK/CHEF Location: Rural NkhotakotaWe are a busy, high standard restaurant serving delicious modern international and local cuisine. Our restaurant has an extremely good reputation. We are looking for a skilled Cook / Chefe to prepare delicious meals according to menu. We are looking for someone with at least four years experience cooking in different styles and cuisines – everything from traditional Malawian classics to Asian and Italian -inspired dishes. The goal is to help preserve and enhance our reputation so we can expand our clientele. The position is located in the rural areas of Nkhotakota . Our Chef will be accommodated in the nearby village.ResponsibilitiesCook food in various utensils or grillersCheck food while cooking to stir or turnEnsure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are servedKeep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchenEnsure all food and other items are stored properlyCheck quality of ingredientsMonitor stock and place orders when there are shortagesRequirements and skillsProven experience as cookKnowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)Ability to follow strict sanitation and health proceduresAbility to work in a team and sometimes under pressureVery good communication skillsExcellent physical condition and staminaDiploma from a culinary school will be an advantageHow To Apply: careers@musandi.deClosing Date: 31 August 2026
