Binding Supervisor

Job description

About the role:  A print production company based in Sandton is looking for a dependable, hands-on Binding Supervisor with strong leadership qualities, sound judgement and a proactive approach to getting the job done. This role requires someone who is willing to take charge, support the team and go the extra mile to ensure that operations run smoothly. Previous printing or binding experience would be an advantage, but it is not essential for the right candidate. The ideal candidate is practical, level-headed, solution-oriented and takes pride in being reliable and accountable. Key responsibilities:  Supervise and coordinate binding and finishing activities.Ensure that work is completed efficiently and meets production deadlines and quality standards.Take ownership of operational challenges and resolve issues using sound judgement.Support, motivate and guide team members to maintain productivity and accountability.Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure smooth production flow.Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to assist when operational needs arise.Be prepared to respond to work-related queries and questions outside normal working hours when necessary.Minimum requirements:  Strong leadership skills and the confidence to take charge.A team player with a hands-on, can-do attitude.Good common sense and the ability to think rationally and make practical decisions.Strong personal values, integrity and a solid work ethic.Reliable, responsible and willing to go the extra mile.Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.Previous supervisory experience would be beneficial.Experience in printing, binding or print finishing would be an advantage, but is not essential.Salary and working conditions:  Salary: CTC negotiable depending on experience.Location: Sandton, Johannesburg.Working week: Monday to Friday.Weekend availability: Saturdays and Sundays may be required at management’s discretion.Apply now:  Are you a practical, dependable individual who takes ownership, leads by example and believes in doing what it takes to get the job done?
