Job description
Lead Fiber Technician at Fireside Group. Responsible for supporting project planning, coordination, implementation, and monitoring to ensure projects are completed within scope, budget. Requires a relevant qualification in project management, business administration, engineering, or a related field. The role is based in Nairobi with duties performed on-site.
Qualifications
- Certificate/ Diploma in Telecommunications, Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites and Google Suites.
- Effective communication skills in both oral and written.
- Project management certifications is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Project manager in planning and executing project activities
- Coordinate with field teams, work schedules to ensure achievement of daily deliverables
- Prepare daily and weekly project reports.
- Ensure deliverables meet or exceed user expectations.
- Ensure project adherence to required QEHS standards.
- Track project progress and ensure client timelines and SLA are met.
- Communicate with clients, stakeholders and provide accurate updates and reports.
- Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Maintain effective communication between clients and technical teams.
- Identify opportunities for service improvement and expansion.
