VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT@ SPARC SYSTEMS POSITION: ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT Location: LILONGWE JOB DESCRIPTION Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reportsAssist with the processing of accounts payable and receivableFile quarterly VAT returnsAssist with the preparation of taxes, i.e PAYE, Maternity, pension, CBHI, VATFamiliar of EBM SystemEnter and verify the accuracy of financial transactionsPerform bank reconciliations and other reconciling tasks as neededAssist with budgeting as neededEnsuring payments, amounts, and records are correct.Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers and journals.Recording and filing cash transactions.Controlling credit and chasing debt.Processing expense requestsKey RequirementsAbility to work as part of a team and take direction accurately.Analytical thinker and problem solver.Competent IT skills, particularly proficiency with spreadsheet software.High level of accuracy.Extremely organised in a manner that is easily read by others.Trustworthy and discreet when dealing with confidential information.QUALIFICATIONS Degree in Accounting, with at least 3 Years of related work experienceProficient in Accounting package ,Microsoft dynamics will have added advantageExcellent organizing and multitasking abilityOutstanding Communication skillsBenefits & PerksAn attractive package will be offered to successful candidates, commensurate with skills and experience.Application InstructionsInterested candidates should submit their applications with a detailed CV with names and addresses of at least 3 traceable referees by email only not later than 25th September 2026.HOW TO APPLY Please send your application to:recruitment@sparcsystems.africaApply via EmailDeadline: September 26, 2026
