The organisation is inviting applications from reliable, committed, and self-motivated individuals for the position of Agricultural Intern to support its daily business operations.The successful candidate will assist with customer service, sales and marketing, stock monitoring, record-keeping, and general business administration. Applicants should be willing to learn, take responsibility, and contribute to the growth of the business.This is an on-site position in Mzuzu requiring regular physical presence, active customer engagement, and accurate documentation. Any opportunity for continued employment will depend on performance, business needs, and applicable employment arrangements.Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM on agreed working daysJOB TYPE:InternshipApplication Deadline: 23 October 2026POSITION: AGRICULTURAL INTERNKEY REQUIREMENTSAcademic, Professional Qualifications and Experience:The applicant should possess the following:A Diploma in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Irrigation, or a relevant field.Experience in sales, marketing, agribusiness, or office administration will be an added advantage.Personal Specification:Good communication and customer service skills.Basic computer skills and the ability to use smartphones, WhatsApp, and other digital tools.Willingness to learn new systems and understand agricultural products.Honesty, punctuality, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility.Ability to work independently.Availability to work on-site in Mzuzu from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on agreed working days.DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAttend to walk-in customers, answer telephone calls, and respond to customer enquiries.Follow up on sales leads, quotations, and prospective customers.Accurately record sales, expenses, customer payments, and stock movements in the company’s system.Assist with stock monitoring and ensure business transactions are properly documented.Support marketing activities, product promotion, and customer follow-ups.Prepare daily activity reports and weekly sales and customer follow-up reports.Maintain a professional working environment and provide reliable customer service.HOW TO APPLYInterested candidates should submit the following documents:An updated Curriculum Vitae (CV).A short application letter explaining their suitability for the position.Email: rootriseagribusiness@gmail.comClosing Date: 23 October 2026Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview.
