VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT@ ISLAMIC HEALTH ASSOCIATION OF MALAWI (IHAM)POSITION: ACCOUNTS ASSISTANTLocation: MangochiSalary: Within the range of Grade M Salary SegmentABOUT THE ROLEIslamic Health Association of Malawi (IHAM) is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Accounts Assistant.The successful candidate will provide financial and accounting support to the health centre, ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded and accurate financial information is maintained.REQUIREMENTS- Certificate or Diploma in Accounting, Financial Management, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized institution.- At least two (2) years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping.- Experience working in a health facility, NGO, or donor-funded organization will be an added advantage.- Knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel will be an advantage.- Excellent written and oral communication skills.- Strong customer service skills.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Record daily financial transactions accurately.- Maintain proper records of income, expenditure, payments, and receipts.- Ensure all financial transactions have supporting documentation.- Prepare daily cash summaries and reconcile collections against issued receipts.- Assist in preparing bank reconciliation statements.- Support the preparation of expenditure schedules for medicines, supplies, and equipment.- Maintain accurate financial records for internal and external audits.HOW TO APPLYInterested candidates should submit the following documents:1.
