POSTED BY MVUNGI JOB MASTERJOB VACANCY: WAREHOUSE OPERATIVECompany: Office WorldLocation: Lilongwe, MalawiAbout the OpportunityOffice World is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Warehouse Operative.Duties and ResponsibilitiesReceive, unload and inspect deliveries against delivery notes and purchase orders.Pick, pack, label and prepare customer orders for dispatch.Load and unload goods safely using appropriate equipment and manual-handling techniques.Store goods in designated locations and maintain an organised warehouse.Conduct stock checks, cycle counts and inventory inspections.Follow health and safety procedures, manual-handling requirements and warehouse security rules.Keep work areas clean and free from hazards.Assist with stock rotation and proper storage of goods.Coordinate with warehouse staff, drivers, supervisors and other departments.Handle goods carefully to prevent damage.Report operational problems, safety concerns and equipment faults.Meet productivity, accuracy and quality targets.Follow company policies and procedures.Qualifications and RequirementsMinimum of a Diploma in Business Administration or a Degree in Procurement and Supply, or an equivalent qualification.At least 2 years of warehousing, logistics or stock-control experience is an advantage.Good organisational and time-management skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Must be reliable, punctual, physically fit and willing to work flexible hours when required.Forklift operator certification is an advantage where applicable.How to ApplySubmit your cover letter and CV to:Email: hrll@officeworldmw.comAlternatively, deliver your application by hand to:Office World, Maula Mall, Lilongwe.Applications are being reviewed as they are received due to the urgency of recruitment.
