Programme Management Officer (P-4)
UN Environment Programme (Kenya)
Job description
UNEP is recruiting a P-4 Programme Management Officer for its Nature Frameworks Support Unit in Nairobi. The officer will coordinate Global Environment Facility biodiversity activities and Kunming Biodiversity Fund projects, support implementation of environmental agreements and UNEA resolutions, monitor delivery, supervise personnel, engage Member States and partners, and prepare budgets, reports and briefings. The employer classifies this as a position-specific fixed-term limited opening. The public LinkedIn listing describes it as full-time; on-site work is inferred from the Nairobi duty station because UNEP does not separately state a remote arrangement. Official deadline: 22 October 2026, 23:59 New York time (23 October, 05:59 Zambia time / 06:59 Kenya time). Apply through UN Inspira from the official vacancy.
