The successful candidate will support the company’s day-to-day insurance operations, underwriting administration, policy processing and accurate maintenance of insurance records. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Enter and update client, policy and insurance information accurately in Smart Policy. - Prepare and process quotations, policies, endorsements, renewals and related insurance documentation. - Assist with underwriting and placement of general insurance business. - Review proposal forms and supporting documents for completeness and accuracy. - Liaise with insurers to obtain quotations, policy documents and endorsements. - Maintain accurate premium, policy and client records. - Monitor policy expiry dates and assist with renewal follow-ups. - Prepare debit notes, schedules and other insurance documentation. - Maintain proper electronic and physical filing of insurance records. - Verify information entered into the system and correct discrepancies promptly. - Assist the operations team with reports and other insurance administration duties. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE - Diploma/Degree or relevant qualification in Insurance, Business Administration, Finance or a related field. - Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in insurance underwriting, broking operations or policy administration. - Previous hands-on experience using Smart Policy is highly preferred. - Good understanding of general insurance products, including Motor, Fire, Accident, Engineering and other classes of insurance. - Experience in quotations, endorsements, renewals and policy processing will be an advantage. - Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and general computer applications. KEY SKILLS ### The candidate should be - Fast and accurate in data entry. - Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy. - Familiar with insurance terminology and documentation. - Able to work with minimal supervision. - Organized and capable of handling multiple policies and deadlines. - Good at communicating with clients, insurers and colleagues. - Comfortable working with both insurance systems and digital platforms.
