## Job Description

Teaching Jobs. St. Theresa’s Mission Hospital Jobs. Tutor delivering lectures and clinical instruction to nursing students and assessing their practical skills, requiring a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, 2 years tutor experience and current Nursing Council of Kenya registration and practising licence, in a hospital training college environment, on-site role.

Qualifications and Competencies

- A Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing

- Must have served as a Tutor for a minimum period 2 years

- Must have knowledge in use of MS office packages

- Should have strong analytical skills and be result oriented

- Must have high standards of integrity and ethical practice

- Must be registered with and in good stand with the Nursing council of Kenya and with a current practicing license.

### Key Responsibilities

- Deliver lectures as part of a formal curriculum and host tutorials and other small group teaching.

- Engage in the assessment of students and assist with the preparation of clinical case material.

- Utilize a range of appropriate methods of teaching and assessment to demonstrate clinical learning opportunities.

- Provide direct assistance in the use of equipment, learning objects, and materials needed for student success

- Instruct and supervise students in the programmers of the College in the relevant clinical subject area.

- Provide academic counseling and advice to students. Setting tests and evaluating practical skills

- Prepares timetables and Instruction materials
