Role Overview: Transport Logistics Officer Jobs in Lusaka The Transport & Logistics Officer will oversee the entire supply chain process, ensuring that shipments reach their destinations securely and on schedule. This position involves supervising a team that includes Logistics Coordinators, Dispatch professionals, and Truck Drivers, while maintaining the quality and efficiency of all transportation activities.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and organize transportation activities, including the storage of goods and management of shipment information from origin to delivery. Coordinate and track the movement of goods through established logistics pathways to ensure timely delivery. Implement logistics plans to meet delivery schedules and optimize transportation routes. Review freight rates and transportation costs regularly to maintain cost-efficiency. Maintain high-quality standards throughout all logistic processes.
Qualifications
and Experience Grade 12 School Certificate is required. A Business or Engineering Degree complemented by a CILT qualification is essential. Between 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar transport and logistics role. Proven experience managing a fleet exceeding 100 trucks. Professional

related to vehicle and equipment management are advantageous. Demonstrable leadership and staff management skills.
