Are you a Systems Analyst with Telecommunications, ISP, or MVNO experience looking to work on next-generation connectivity platforms? We're seeking a highly skilled Systems Analyst to join a dynamic team driving innovation across mobile, FTTH, FWA, and cloud-native telecommunications environments. What you'll need: Relevant tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science, or Information Systems6 to 10 years' experience in Systems Analysis and DesignExposure to complex system integrationsStrong SQL and Transact-SQL skillsExperience with Web Services, HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptExposure to Java or C# advantageousTelco industry experience highly advantageousAdvantageous tools and certifications: JiraConfluenceAutomation toolsAWS certificationsWorking knowledge of Java and/or C#Telecommunications KnowledgeExperience or understanding of: 4G/5G core networksPacket core technologiesRAN, Cloud RAN, and Open RANNetwork SlicingFTTH Networks, OLTs, and ONTsBroadband Network Gateways (BNG)Disaggregated BNG / CUPS ArchitectureModern technology stack: REST APIs and event-driven architectureAPI Lifecycle management and governanceCloud-native engineeringContainers, Kubernetes, and MicroservicesInteroperable and reusable service designReference number for this position is GZ61411 which is a permanent Hybrid position based in Stellenbosch offering a cost to company salary of R1.3m per annum negotiable on experience and ability.
