Qualifications
Must possess the following qualifications
- Must possess a Diploma in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, Agricultural Technology, Farm Management or related field.
- Three (3) years’ work experience as a Trainee Technologist or comparable position.
- Must be computer literate.
- Valid Certificate of Good Conduct.
- Exemplary work performance.
OR
- Certificate in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, Agricultural Technology, Farm Management or related field.
- Must possess KCSE academic certificate or its equivalent
- Five (5) years’ work experience as Trainee Technologist or comparable position.
- Demonstrable Technical expertise in Crop Production, Horticulture, Green House Management, Irrigation Systems, Nursery Management, Pest and Pest Control, Management, Dryland Farming, Climate – Smart Agriculture and Agribusiness with ability to support commercial agricultural production, students’ practical training, research trials, and community outreach programmes will be highly desirable.
- Must be computer literate
- Valid Certificate of Good Conduct
- Exemplary work performance
