Job description
Team Leader – Title Deeds & Mixed Collaterals at Progressive Credit. Responsible for overseeing the management and processing of title deeds. Requires a relevant qualification in finance, banking, credit management, business administration, or a related field The role is based in Nairobi with duties performed on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead title deed & mixed collateral recovery
- Manage classified loans and collections
- Oversee collateral enforcement, repossession & sale
- Supervise recovery teams and service providers
- Ensure legal & regulatory compliance
- Monitor team performance and prepare reports
- Support recovery strategy and staff development
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Business, Finance or Banking
- CCP or equivalent credit qualification
- 5–8+ years’ debt recovery experience
- 3+ years in a supervisory/leadership role
- Strong knowledge of land/security realization, statutory notices and forced-sale valuation
- Experience managing advocates, valuers, estate agents & auctioneers
- Strong leadership, negotiation & communication skills
