Overall Job Purpose

(brief description of this job)

To enhance the management reporting processes and drive efficiency in the organisation. Working closely with the business improvement team, cost accountants and departments to streamline reporting procedures and ensure accurate financial data for management decision-making.

Specific Job Responsibility

(detailed description of key tasks expected to be performed by position holder)

• Lead the implementation of Microsoft Power BI for business management reporting.
• Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboard and reports to the needs of different stakeholder and departments.
• Work closely with different departments understanding their reporting requirements and customize the Power BI reports accordingly.
• Train and support departmental teams for effective utilization of Power BI tools.

• Collaborate with cost accountants to integrate cost data into power BI reporting.
• Ensure accurate presentation of costs in the Power BI reports.
• Collaborate with the business improvement team to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies in all reporting activities.

Experience required to perform in this job

The Superintendent Management Accountant will require knowledge, skills and experience in the following areas:

• Accounting and Mathematics skills.
• At least 10 years of Accounting/Finance experience.
• Experience in manipulating large databases.

Qualifications

(Academic/ technical and or professional qualification required for the job)

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Professional accounting and finance qualifications such as ZICA, ACCA, CA, CPA, or CIMA, etc.
