• Manage minimum and maximum stock levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and reconcile physical inventory with ERP/computerized system records.
• Inspect incoming materials for quantity, quality, and damage, and reconcile them with purchase orders.
• Organize and label goods properly, ensure appropriate packing, and apply FIFO for stock rotation.
• Issue parts, tools, and equipment efficiently and record all stock movements accurately.
• Keep the store area clean, secure, and organized in compliance with safety regulations.
• Generate inventory reports, identify obsolete items, and coordinate the disposal of surplus items.
• Set minimum quantities for spare parts and monitor stock levels to prevent critical stockouts.
• Process and send purchase requests, POs, RFQs, and RFPs to vendors via email, and record purchase details and status in a centralized database.
• Share information between the CMMS and ERP.
• Set minimum stock quantities.
• Record vendor information in a centralized database.
• File vendor contracts, rate sheets, warranties, and certificates of insurance in a centralized database, and group vendors by trade.
• Update inventory receipts, stock levels, new spare parts, and purchase orders in FIXX from work orders and cycle counts.
• Implement FIXX as a store management and reporting tool for parts consumption, MTBF, and MTTR.
Maintenance Inspections
• Inspect facilities and equipment for maintenance needs, safety hazards, and compliance issues.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural) and machinery.
• Develop and implement PM schedules to detect and resolve issues before they cause downtime.
• Record inspection findings, prepare reports, and track maintenance work orders in the CMMS.
• Identify required spare parts and coordinate with the Store Head for their availability.
• Inspect machines according to the manufacturer’s SOPs and checklists, and complete inspections within the required timelines.
• Inspect work completed by mechanics and electricians for compliance with standard engineering practices and proper record-keeping.
• Record equipment breakdowns and evaluate MTTR and MTBF for individual machines and equipment.

• Training or certification in Maintenance Management, Plant Maintenance, Reliability Engineering, or CMMS/ERP systems will be an added advantage.
• Full Grade 12 certificate
• Must be a member of the Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ)
• All Academic Qualifications must be registered with ZAQA
