Kilimani Children’s Clinic is inviting applications from qualified, organized, and detail-oriented individuals for the position of Stores & Inventory Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient receipt, storage, control, and issuance of medical and non-medical supplies to ensure uninterrupted clinical and operational services.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, store, and issue medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, vaccines, consumables, and general inventory.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper documentation of all stock movements.
- Monitor stock levels, expiry dates, and reorder points using FEFO/FIFO principles.
- Conduct routine stock counts and reconcile inventory variances.
- Maintain clean, secure, and compliant storage areas.
- Prepare inventory reports and promptly report stock shortages, damaged, or expired items.
- Support stock audits and ensure compliance with clinic inventory policies and procedures.
- Liaise with the Procurement and Finance teams to ensure timely availability of supplies.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement & Logistics, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in stores or inventory management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Experience with inventory management systems is an added advantage.
