- Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock and supplies.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
- Maintain accurate inventory and stores records.
- Issue materials and supplies while maintaining proper documentation.
- Conduct regular stock counts and inventory reconciliation.
- Monitor stock movement and report variances or shortages.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and organization of inventory.
- Prepare inventory, consumption, and stock variance reports.
- Coordinate with procurement and finance departments on stock-related matters.
- Track expiry dates and damaged goods where applicable.
- Ensure compliance with store control procedures and company policies.
- Support audits by providing accurate inventory records and documentation.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization within the store area.
- Assist in procurement and supplier coordination when required.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- A background in Finance or Accounting will be an added advantage.
- Previous experience in stores management, inventory control, procurement, or stock management preferred.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and stock control procedures.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory/accounting software.
- Ability to monitor stock movement and prepare inventory reports.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
